Indian of the week:
This week's Indian of the week was very challenging to decide. There were 4 wrestlers that could have won this award based on their performance in the Peters Township dual. It was that great of a performance by our team. However; after evaluating both of our duals for this week, breaking down their complete body of work, we have an Indian of the week.
This weeks award winner is Freshman 145lb. wrestler Nathan Mankey. After overcoming some pre-season adversity, Nathan opened up his first week of competition with 2 first period pins. One of his pins was against a wrestler that beat him by a score of 9-1 last year. Talk about the ability to bounce back and win......Congratulations Nathan!
